The last ride, and winter is for finishing airplanes

  Took my final checkride recently. 

 

 And we're still building. I gave up trying to build my own grip, and instead Pioneer Control Grips was very kind to work with me on a non-standard setup for the pitch trim to accommodate my messed up hand. Played with it on Flight Sim and it seems to work, but we'll see.

 

The theory is that it's more natural to go side-side with your thumb, but it's only a theory.
